Yeah, I think Bucky got a raw deal, even before Hydra got ahold of him. Between being the oldest kid in the family during the Depression, Steve's bodyguard, cannon fodder and a POW--that's a lot to deal with, and all by the time he was 25? Remembering my own feckless self at that age, I feel for him. I don't think he ever had any autonomy.
Okay, right now, I have this 'verse and I have the other Covenant 'verse, both WIPs. I'm also trying to do another WS full-up to the Two-Day Interval, AND I'm thinking of a crossover with The Losers. AND I have ideas for some shorter things--the above all promise to be 10K words at least. I have to prioritize, plus there's RL, which may be getting complicated in the near future. So no telling when any of it will materialize....
It's always gratifying to get rereaders. I was just thinking about a follow-up to this earlier today (like I don't have enough other shit going on!)--I just have a metric shitload of RL going on, so who knows when that'll happen. I have the next chapter of The Man With the Silver Arm written in longhand, I need to get that transcribed and posted. Life's just spectacularly complicated right now, that's why I haven't been on over at Comment_fic.
I'm currently in grad school; I know all about hectic RL. I'll just wait patiently.
Also, I've hit a point where I can't read WIPs, which is why I haven't commented on the Losers/WS fic, but I promise I am looking forward to reading it when it's done! (Or if you hit a point where it's stalled/won't be finished, let me know and I'll read it then, because lords knows I've done that enough times with my own stuff.)
I know what's going to happen with TMWtSA...it's just that I'm barely at the halfway point. Plus I've got oodles more I want to do with TJ, and so on. I need a telepathic laptop for sure!

Is Talia this world's version of Natasha? That name is highly suspect.
Also! Oh, Bucky, grabbing this second chance with both hands, you sweet bébé.
(I would yes to all the more, both yes and please and thank you.)

Oh, dude, I fully understand. I'll still be over here, though, quietly bouncing in glee.

And if I haven't mentioned it, I *LOVE* your Jimmy/Jason 'verse. For the record, Bucky-called-Jimmy is my head canon, too!

I was in a Sebastian Stan mood, so I rewatched The Covenant, which means I'm coming back to all your Covenant fics.
I still adore Chase's glee and the asset just glomming onto a new life.
