I've never liked the term "negative space". It implies anti-space as far as I'm concerned. "Negative space" means "no space" to me. It should mean there's something filling the void, which voids out the void! So there isn't space then. There is something, rather than nothing in "negative space".
Did you write that, darling? It sounds pretty! It leads me to believe that you're either dating a physicist or a Hindu.
Whatever the case, you spoke of he and yourself as "positive and negative, both infinite space and nothingness". Infinite space and nothingness should be the same thing, I'd imagine. Then again, infinite space and nothingness are both something, aren't they?
So then... there's no such thing as nothingness. Everything is something. Isn't that a bothersome thought?
