I feel like I've lost faith in our school system. I'm tired of sitting in a cold classroom getting talked to instead of being heard. And when I don't fill in that correct circle feeling like a dissapointment or stupid. It's just all screwed up. I'm trying to pick out courses for next year, and I'm thinking of only taking one french course. At

I think many university French programs across the US are lacking. At my school many of the French courses are supposed to be online courses (with professors at other universities) due to the small faculty we have. Spanish is strong, because it is a popular minor and a more popular second language. You'll be able to make it through college, and it will show whomever in your future that you can persevere.
