V2 had teleported directly into Shuuseki's home after the battle with Blaze. It didn't seem like anyone was home yet.
V2 tossed the teleporter onto the table next to the front door. He was in a poor mood and just headed for his own room. Once inside, he recalled off his armor, it was like reopening a wound.
