Momo had woken up in a huge bed! That certainly wasn't the futon she shared with Shirou-chan. When she'd got up to look around, the room hadn't been hers either! She had struggled to get down from the high bed but made it eventually, wandering out into the main room. This place was certainly laid out strangely; it looked nothing like any of the Rukongai homes she'd been in, nor any of the Seireitei ones she'd heard about.
At any rate, Momo definitely knew how angry grown-ups got when you were in their houses without permission! Even if it wasn't her fault she was there, it was probably best to get out of the place. She quickly located the door and did just that.
Momo faultered when she opened the door to reveal yet another room, this one bigger than the last. In her experience, houses had no more than two rooms, three if you were incredibly lucky or had a very large family. Still, she stepped outside and closed the door, not wanting to be in there any longer than she had to be. She hurried down the corridor, beginning to panic slightly when she found stairs leading to more rooms.
It took her a little while, but she finally did make her way outside. Who on earth lived in a house like that?! Not even the nobilty had places like that, surely? She shook her head in bewildered amazement, turning to figure out where she was.
Momo started panicking more when she couldn't recognise where she was. This wasn't anywhere she knew in Rukongai. She'd gotten herself lost again and Shirou-chan wasn't anywhere in sight.
Sitting down on the steps of the large house, Momo wrapped her arms around her knees. She certainly wasn't going to cry; just think of what Shirou-chan would think! She simply needed a moment to gather herself and decide what to do.
And hopefully Shirou-chan would show up to rescue her like he usually did.
