Parker and Eliot are
scary, my God. Parker especially. That bit with Tara on the roof? How easily she switches from "friend" to "throwing you off the roof", but it was worse, because it wasn't just getting rid of a bad asset. She said, "Bye now," and she had this little smile on her face. Little Dexter-esque smile. Like she was going to be enjoying what came next. I am shivering there. Beth Riesgraf is so fantastic in this role.
And Eliot's countdown, of course, and for that matter, Nate's father impression during "The Bottle Job", and Tara's "Fine, just kill him and get out of here." They hug and smile and they're one big great adorable family, and the violence is wrapped up in cute little musical themes, but you forget that, underneath it, these people are hardened. They may be good, certainly, and at times even nice, but when all's said and done, they'll kill.
Also - ehn. I didn't like her at the beginning, but I can genuinely say that I'm sorry to see Tara go. She was very cool, and in the end, I liked her better than Sophie. However, this was the one episode where Nate's emoness wasn't annoying as fuck - and was actually a little bit wrenching - so I'll forgive the return of Annie St. Croix, and only say this: Please cut your hair again.
