I was planning to write a post about how much I've been missing my mom lately, but I wrote this for a project my dad is working on, and it seemed more appropriate.

There's an episode of Golden Girls where Dorothy writes Sophia a letter that simply says

Dear Ma,
Thank you for giving me life,
and thank you for making it good.
It's a simple message

I have also always loved your mom's sense of humor. I will never forget what she said about having the tumor removed.
