I think the families just need to be comfortable enough with your relationship to not be offended when you don't visit. My family still has a few more years, but Travis' is primed and ready.

My dad is now with some woman named Janet. He moves fast. More to come when I've actally met her.

Barty died of hibernation/old age a couple days before Christmas. He was given a rainy midnight burial.
