Drop it. Drop it right now. Drop it like it's a radioactive device. You are killing Narnia canon, and you are eviscerating the Crossover Canon

Bad Narnia fanfic annoys me more than bad fanfic from other fandoms, mainly because it seems that most of the people writing the bad Narnia fanfic have only seen the new movie of "Wardrobe" and have no idea that there are any other stories attached to Narnia.
I remember seeing one girl who was writing about the Pevensies' children, who were inheriting the throne of Narnia after their parents--uh, canon check, the Pevensies leave Narnia at the end of "Wardrobe," and they only ever return for fairly short periods of time, by which point somebody else has taken over the throne. Furthermore, they never have any children because they die at the end of the seventh book. Except for Susan, because she's stupid. And even if they did have children, there is no logical reason they'd be growing up in Narnia or be inheriting the throne of Narnia. And besides, Caspian the Tenth is wondering where he fits into this mess.
Uh, yeah. Anywho, this is why I generally give Narnia fanfic a wide berth.
No to crossovers!!ext_766968August 29 2011, 17:51:31 UTC
I agree with you! I was so dumbstruck when I first learn that a lot of fanfic writers are doing crossovers of Narnia and Harry Potter, like... come on! It feels like they are not respecting both the stories and authors.
And I hope they will stop those love pairings between the characters and even among the four Pevensies. Narnia isn't like that.
P.S. And I don't believe that Susan of Narnia is that bitch. Isn't she who couldn't stand the sight of someone being hurt?!
