You know, I started college as a Pharmacy major, but I discovered after only a few weeks that I hated it. I switched to English for the next semester, and I've never looked back.
Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that I now have time to write the stuff I want to write--now I spend all my time reading assigned stuff I'd never read otherwise and writing twenty-page essays about things I don't give a shit about.
Such is the life of a college student, I'm afraid.

That's a big switch, lol. But a good one. I'm glad you figured it out so soon! I didn't figure out my major switch until a year in, and even now I wonder about it.
Gah. I HATE writing stuff I don't care about. Which means I'm very glad I didn't choose Journalism, but still. Oy, the one thing I can say for my major is that there isn't a lot of reading (but drawing random stuff and making computer programs the world has no need for, yes).
Think we'll someday look back on this all and be nostalgic? And think "Ah, if only I were a college kid again..."
