Absolute Anime What your character can offer:
Karasu's actual powers involve explosions. He can manipulate the air about himself, creating painful, violent explosions of varying degrees of damage. His youkai, or demonic power is a part of him, an addition, and he uses it to form several well-crafted and named explosions. The deleterious bomb looks like sticks of greyish dynamite welded together with a skull and tiny clock. There is also the mad bomb that attaches itself to a victim (by way of chaining them to the ground, normally by an ankle ball and chain) and laughs, giving an ill-humored quote ("Time to say, bombs away!") before promptly exploding. Karasu can also turn himself into a living breathing bomb shed, performing an attack that is capable of blowing up part of a large stadium.
But Karasu's favorite would be the Trace eyes. Small, organic bat-winged abominations that will follow their targeted victim until they explode, the eye itself capable of seeing it's intended victim.
During periods of high energy (such as when he uses more youki than normal for an attack) his hair turns blonde.
Karasu is a highly intelligent creature with a personal drive whenever he does set himself up for a goal. He listens, if distantly, due to his position as a subordinate member of the Team Toguro. If someone can earn his respect, he will listen to them...but don't expect someone submissive to their every whim.
Karasu is also quite the stalker, enjoying the hunt for his victims, or prey. And as he rarely feels the drive to keep his prey for very long...should a few turn up murdered he would take the blame. That's his art, after all. His love.
What items will they be bringing with them? The only thing Karasu would be bringing with him, aside from the clothing on his back would be his mask.
Third-Person Sample: There were no thunderous cries of the battle-thirsty public when Karasu opened his eyes. There was nothing to remind the blackbird of the tournament where he had been just moments ago. If anything, had he ignored the dusty blue sky (overcast with heavy clouds) and the stench of humanity, he would have thought himself somehow whisked home to his own world. More and more, as he slowly got to his feet, he was reminded of the Makai, over the human world. Broken down streets without a soul to tell where he was. There was nothing to distinguish where he was, but at that precise instant it didn't matter, save in whetting the demon's curiosity. Where was he? How had he ended up there? Had he somehow managed to save himself, to send his soul far and away from the tournament grounds, to safety? No, that didn't seem right. The Reikai would never allow him such a respite for his crimes.
Carefully, he began to walk, footsteps making a quiet click on the debris-laden street. And while he kept himself open for any signs of life to stalk after...he also allowed himself a chance to dwell on why he might be here, and what he last remembered. First had been his indentured servitude to Toguro, when apathy and madness had taken so much of his mind. Only Kurama had seemed to have been an option of easing that lonely madness, and yet....it had been himself who had died! ...Or had he? After all, he was standing there, safe and sound, was he not? He could feel the blood pumping in his veins, could feel the supple skin of his own flesh beneath his fingertips. Perhaps then, his emergence here...wherever here was...would prove to be the better outcome, for it had permanently stripped him of all alliances with the brothers.
"He...defeated me...? And all...for...this...?" he waved an arm about in a grand gesture to no one in particular, a silken chuckle escaping his hidden lips. This new world was but a disheveled, decaying backdrop to him. One that held the scent of discontent, sorrow...and mold. Was this to be his new home? This far-flung corner of the godforsaken human world? It wasn't his home, but perhaps it would become as such. But first...
"Now...to the task of...finding out where...I...am." he found himself murmuring in a soft voice, only minimally surprised to find that his mask was once again attached to his face, neatly hiding the lower half from view. Gently, white fingers lifted to stroke over the cold metal as he began to walk. There was no better time like the present to explore, after all...
First-Person Sample: My my my...
Should I consider it a luxury that I have cheated death...? Or should I feel uneasy about being abducted at that precise moment to some other place and left alone...? Heh. I think my only regret is that that I had to leave that beautiful creature behind.
A nasty case of remorse over unfinished business, I suppose. But Kurama can't be too far behind. At least...I hope I will see that beauty again. It would be such a shame to start from scratch so soon.
I must say though, the timing was both convenient and...needed, but it really is a pity that whomever drew me here couldn't stay long enough to allow me an explanation.
So....can someone be...so kind...as to elaborate on where I have ended up? I know I'm not the only one...the smell of humanity is everywhere.
And really. I'd be...ever so grateful for any assistance.
