I'm in the same boat, except in Australia. For my full teaching licence I have to have 10 observation lessons, 5 lesson studies where i observe and make comments on someone else's teaching, fill in a huge amount of pointless paperwork, have weekly meetings with three different supervisors and team teach 16 lessons with my mentor teacher and my class. The fact I teach Japanese just makes it all harder.
Good luck is all I can say :D At least your school loves you.
It's fun isn't it? Do the people observing you speak Japanese? One of the upsides for me is that 2 of the 3 people who are watching me don't speak Spanish so they have no idea what I'm saying.
