I'm in the same boat, except in Australia. For my full teaching licence I have to have 10 observation lessons, 5 lesson studies where i observe and make comments on someone else's teaching, fill in a huge amount of pointless paperwork, have weekly meetings with three different supervisors and team teach 16 lessons with my mentor teacher and my class. The fact I teach Japanese just makes it all harder.

Good luck is all I can say :D At least your school loves you.

It's fun isn't it? Do the people observing you speak Japanese? One of the upsides for me is that 2 of the 3 people who are watching me don't speak Spanish so they have no idea what I'm saying.

Good luck to you as well!

Just a quick note to say congrats on the positive evaluations, and sorry for all those hoops you have to jump through!

Thanks! I'm on the downhill slope now. Hopefully I'll be finished by spring break. :)
