Yours is the first Narnia fic that I've read. I'm not new to the fandom, but the fanfiction is a first for me. What I like about this, is that your painting a picture that isn't all sun and roses, a human picture. I like that Peter is a little bit self-absorbed. It fits well with the fact that he's only 13 and it also gives him room to grow. I don't know much about fanon characterization of the Penvensie's, but so far I like what you've done. I'm intrigued and will definitely read more! I just wanted to let you know there a were a few grammatical mistakes in there too, but nothing drastic. It just disrupted the flow, but other than that, it was great!

Grammar is an evasive little bugger sometimes :) No worries. If you're ever feeling particularly frustrated with it, I do specialize in finding Grammatical errors.

You have my congrats for not taking the path of most of the other Narnia stories I've seen and having Peter run into some girl lost in the woods and falling in love with her within the course of a chapter or two. ^_~ Keep up the good job!
