Canon mates
Precious Ones
Angeal Hewley: Housemate, jailer, father-figure, friend, Angeal is slowly becoming his obsession...or at the very least, the only thing he has to tether himself to sanity besides Nero. Due to Angeal's strange consideration for his welfare and health, he feels obligated, almost honorbound (as much as he can allow himself, at least) not to turn on Angeal. He craves his attention, demands it in his own way. He is one of the few people who can tell Karasu what to do and be listened to. Angeal is as much a muzzle as Karasu's mask is.
Avari: A mother figure he hasn't had since he was a child. The only woman in the worlds who can tell Karasu what to do and expect him to even pretend to listen and perhaps do as she requests. She's one of his own, don't bother messing with her if you value your life.
Nero: A little brother of sorts. Someone that he owes a debt to, and is willing to protect as one of his own. That doesn't mean there won't be heaps of emotional trauma along the way however, but anyone who messes with Nero has to get through him.
Roxas: Something of a younger brother to Karasu. Roxas has never shown fear to Karasu, and often tends to pluck at one of the few more rational threads of his mind, causing him to listen with interest rather than threaten, or worse, attack. He respects Roxas for that, and would gladly bathe in the blood of anyone he saw attempting to harm him.
Allies
Genesis Rhapsodos: Karasu isn't sure what to make of this one. He wants to hate him, desires to kill him for ever leaving him. He's sickened with what he became before leaving, pleased at what he is now, but he dislikes owing him the debt that he does. Because Genesis saved his life (in a sense) he will not take his. He is however, wary of his relationship to Angeal.
Enemies
Sephiroth: King of the Pigeons, and someone Karasu neither trusts nor likes. The only thing he can appreciate about Sephiroth besides his cold, calculating demeanor and strength would be his beauty. Karasu is especially fond of his hair, but knows better than to attempt to pet the one-winged creature.
Zack Fair: Karasu doesn't bear him any inherent malice, due to the actions of a former version of the man. Still, he views him with a wary eye and enjoys taunting him, as Zack rises to the bait each time. So long as it remains friendly banter they aren't exactly enemies (so long as Zack doesn't try to tear those he watches over from him). Zack amuses him, plain and simple.
The Departed
Kimimaro Kaguya: Someone Karasu honestly and truly loved. Kimimaro is the only person to date who has died to save Karasu, and it altered his philosophy in some ways. He trusts Kimimaro, quite easily with his life.
