I agree with you, they look awesome, and I like the blue one. I wonder what kind of illumination it give if it's the only light on in a room.

I would say these lights are centerpieces for a room, but may not throw enough light by themselves to light an entire space...the clear one may be different (I saw the other two completed in person, but Braden was building the clear textured one when I was at his studio in December)but I can't say for sure.

The thing to know about these lights is that he builds every piece of them out of hard glass including the frame that all the individual arms/curls are attached all done using lampworking technique. Each light has between 75-110 individually blown pieces which takes an incredible amount of time to create. I'm so proud of my brother. He does amazing work!

I'm sure they're all for sale ;) One day when I have a place that is my own and has a place that will do one of his light pieces justice, I'll anti up. I've been trying to convince him to turn some of his bowl flares (http://www.bradenhammond.com/art.htm ) into smaller lights that would be spectacular over a kitchen island or other similar spot.
