1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Wow... This is going to be a cool survey - it's deep. lol Ummm... Lets start from January and think through the yeeeeeaaaar..... Did almost nothing for New Years, went to Arizona, held hands with a girl, gave a Valentine's Day gift that meant something, made a film in black and white, got a new fedora, sold a bullwhip, got a new bullwhip, saw a kangaroo, went to Lake Arrowhead, saw Elton John in concert, doubted my faith, cried at Adoration, spent a day ignoring God (which, I repeat, is never going to happen again), considered becoming a priest, talked to a Seminarian, went on an awesome 3 day retreat, gave flowers to Mary (on 2 occasions), scolded people for being disrespectful on the altar, got stabbed by a katana (which left a scar on my wrist), wrote a love letter, went to confession at least 2 or 3 times (I mean, in a year), got a C- in one of my classes, got my first (died), second (sold), and third (in need of repairs) airsoft guns, aaaaand... I think I'll leave it at that.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
New Year's what now? lol - I'll try this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Almost - but God changed His mind. ;)

5. What countries did you visit?
N/A

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
$1 million - or not. Maybe a girlfriend, maybe an A in Chemistry, but I doubt that can happen,

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 14th, because that was the date I first held Lori's hand, and we went to Mesa, AZ - an amazing experience

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I gave a talk in front of my peers at the end of the Confirmation 2 retreat, then I gave another talk at mass that night.

9. What was your biggest failure?
The C- in Spanish

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
...Yes? Besides the sword wound in the wrist, and many a bullwhip lashing on my shins or back or cheek though... not much. I was really really sick a while ago. But the biggest illness I had was the absense of Christ in my mind and life the day I chose to ignore Him. He was there, but I ignored Him. Luckily I found a cure that night.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Well, the most expensive thing was my bullwhip - but the nicest thing I bought was the plastic rose for Lori. Plastic so that it would never die. She told me yesterday that she still has it.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Also Lori's. At the Confirmation 2 retreat she also got up and gave a talk - she is VERY shy . . . I was so proud of her.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My own.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Indy Gear. Hehehe...!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
That bullwhip... aww, it's so cool.

20. How did you spend Christmas? Opened presents with my family, then more family came over for brunch, then we went to my grandpa's house to open more gifts

20. How will you be spending New Years? At Church! Adoration, a Rosary, and watching a couple movies (I'm bringing The Maltese Falcon - Yeaaaah! Bogart!)

22. Did you fall in love in 2004? Yes - and if I could type in a Greek font, I'd write IHS, or XP.

23. How many one-night stands? I think just one... back in Arizona, I stood outside all night... let me tell you, it was so cold... whew!

24. What was your favourite TV program? Survivor

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Dislike? I don't think so. I'm not happy with some people, but I like them.

26. What was the best book you read? Mark. It was short, it was to the point, and it explained in pretty good detail.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Glenn Miller, and country music (Thanks Lori)

28. What did you want and got? Name a piece of Indy gear that I own, and I'll tell you whether or not I got it this year... that'll serve as a sufficient answer. But also, I got 2 Bibles (a teen one, and a "nice" one), a 4 pack of Bogart movies, the Indy DVDs, a Casablanca poster, the Passion of the Christ, several crucifix necklaces, some Rosaries, many blessings, and an amazing best friend.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? 1 of these - Raiders of the Lost Ark or Casablanca

34. What kept you sane? My faith in God

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Humphrey Bogart

36. What political issue stirred you the most? The election... I HATE politics.

37. Who did you miss? *hums Indiana Jones theme* Nobody... there was nobody to miss.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Sean Thomas

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
I learned that you have to take risks in life - great things can happen if you just take a chance. I learned that with some people you need to be careful discussing things that are very trivial, such as aborition, even if you know what's right and what's wrong. I learned that you should NEVER give up on God, and that you should ALWAYS keep your faith, because even though sometimes it seems like God is raining fire and brimstone down on you, it may be that the real problem is that you are not humble or selfless enough to accept God's will, which is perfect.

40. Quote a saying that made the year.   Well, it's not really a saying, but I think my year is pretty much described in 1 Corinth. 13: 4-8
