Good news.  Moms doing well. They did some blow tests this morning, and she responded very well, so it looks like she's on the mend.  No Immediate plans to remove her from the respirator, but this is one of the tests they needed to do to determine if she coudl be taken off.  That's very good

well I'm glad to hear about your mom. That sucks about the car. Do you think you can get a decent used for about that amount?
