I've heard iffy things about Kias. Though it may be bias because Korea annoyed us so. We decided Kia is an acronym for Koreans In Arrears.

We've got a friend who's got a Kia, and she loves it, and I know a few other people who have them and think they're fantastic.

I have also thought about a used car, depending on how much I get from the credit union. On the other hand, I figure, if I'm spending more than 10k for a used car, I might want to see if I can afford to spend a bit more to get a used car with the full warranty, y'know? I'm keeping my options open, though.
