Tax attorney might not be the best bet - consider looking for an H&R Block (or similar) "premium" or executive tax services office: look for a tax preparer who is an "Enrolled Agent" - they can testify as expert witnesses in tax law cases, and, in some cases, have been called to testify before Congress.
