Veggies and dip?? Cheese and crackers?? There's also a lot of h'ordeuvre-ie thingies in the frozen food section that are quite good...cheese and onion puffs, mini quiches, sausage rolls are ones I always grab. Dang, now I'm hungry.
I try to keep snacks under around 200 calories and contain some protein.
-A hard boiled egg or two -A whole wheat English muffin with a little low fat peanut butter or almond butter -Low fat greek yogurt with a little honey and/or chopped walnuts or almonds -A couple of tablespoons of hummus with some veggies -Half a cup or so of lowfat cottage cheese with spices and a few veggies -Apple slices with a tablespoon or so of almond butter -Couple of slices of low sodium deli turkey and a few grapes -Slice of rye toast with a little lowfat cream cheese -Cucumber slices with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese -Air popped popcorn with spices -Multi-grain toaster waffle with a little honey or berries or fruit preserves -A few endive leaves smeared with skim ricotta cheese and a shake or two of pepper
This is an awesome list for when I decide to stop eating like it's a sport! I know he likes tuna with pasta and indian buffet Other than that I'm lost lol
