I am so drained.
Lately, we've been arguing with M a lot cause he's been stressed out cause of his new job and cause I've been so drained.
My whole life now is thinking about the upcoming surgery and trying to cope ´till the next day and the next moment.

Discussing it all with your psychiatrist sounds like the best idea indeed.

What kind of surgery is this? Something for your Crohn disease, I suppose?

Yeah, my colon (=large intestine) will be removed and the small intestine will be made into a form of a pouch (inside my stomach) that will gradually take some of the functions of the removed colon. Sometimes in this operation, they'll have to make a stoma (??? this is when they lift the intestine up Outside my stomach and then there'd be a sort of a plastic bag on top, hanging from it...) but this Usually is temporary.
Anyway, I'm scared as I have heard of some many people whose surgery or the life after it (complications) have gone terribly wrong. At its best, though, I might actually almost like get healthy afterwards! In any case, this is my only opportunity. I just wish all this hellish waiting would end.

Thanks for the explanation. I've seen something about this on telly, and the young girl was doing so much better after the operation, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Do you know when it gonna be done yet? Will you let you know? I'd like to be able to think of you.
