KK is starting to end his dynasty. After him, the dmk is going to break down, with JJ going to take all the advantage.

Will Maran join JJ and leverage sun to outst dmk and KK

Maran does not have a political base of his own. And his suave personality will not fit in the rough Tamilnadu politicans. Sllying with Maran will work against JJ. JJ has her own political base which is sufficient if she works out the correct electoral mathematix.

Sun TV has been relatively more professional in it's approach which I gues indicates that they are serious about their business. Allying with JJ will work out against Sun TV.

In other words, it's a No-No equation on both sides.

Also such drama and strong urges to be successor of a politician underlines....how being a leader is not a quality of an individual, to motivate people, manage resources and serve citizens....

And how political legacy defies the concepts of democracy, underlining the fact how political power is so absolute that it more alluring then any other inherited assets

I strongly believe that this is a planned drama being enacted by Marans and Karunanidhi to divert public attention from MK's son Azhagiri. I wont be surprised if Maran "apologises" to MK 2 months from now and all would seem well with the Family.......
I dont think D Maran is by any means a threat to MK Stalin. One could see how he struggled to speak 1 clean sentence in Tamil (in the press conference)
