Okay...
Maybe I'm naive or jsut being ADD and didn't read the LiveJournal rules closely enough

I had a weird experience this morning.  I was doing a Google search for  looking for something AND my journal entry showed UP!! for all to see....in Google!

What gives?

Is this because we tag things that they are made public domain?

I'm removing all my tags. Diaries are supposed to be *private*.

'Public' is public, my dear. I presume it wouldn't be externally visible if it were friends-locked.

I think there is something in the LJ FAQ about minimizing the risk that your journal will come up in a search.
