What: Exploration of the upper deck leading to the Stern City and possibly a library of sorts.
(THE EVENTS OF THIS POST ARE LIKE TWO DAYS BEFORE THE FORMAL DANCE THING)
He ran up the stairs connecting two decks, making sure that he got there before his possible companion did. _Companion? I'm not used to that kind of thing. I'm traveling with someone. Something. No, someone. A robot. She mentioned she was a robot? That can't be possible. I have to see it with my own eyes. All of us are so disconnected from each other in person. That's okay, though. I'd rather people didn't know who I am._ He sighed and wheezed and swore as his ankle began acting up again. _I am a sick man. I am a spiteful man. I am an unattractive man, full of disease and spleen. Yet something is awakening within my soul and blood, removing me from my aegis against the world and placing me at the forefront of a new adventure, a new situation. I do not require my spite any longer - all those people I knew as below classmates are gone. Living their lives as if I never existed, as I want of them._
He emerged from the stairwell and stared out at the deck of the ship, daytime sun beating down upon the wide, open expanses. To his left was a train station - in front of him, far away, was yet another station, and what seemed to be treetops- _Treetops? And is that the sound of chirping birds?_ - was far away in the distance, too hazy to properly make out with his glasses. As he turned his head to the right, he shivered - a graveyard rose with various monuments and seemed to even be shrouded in a sort of mist and fog, during the middle of a day.
He shuddered as he continued thinking to himself. _There's a lot here. I'm terrified. But I'm excited. I... Honestly, the first things first? If the universes are colliding - I mean, for fuck's sake, Suzumiya Haruhi? Marie showed that television series to me. If she's actually here, then... I don't know what's what anymore. Everything changes. This is Day One, where from now on, I shouldn't expect anything. Anything at all._ He sighed to himself and closed his eyes, but suddenly opened them again and looked towards the Starboard Town, with its shops and lights and mystery. _I... I want to experiment.
