Premise

It felt like it was a dream. Perhaps it was. A man who may have not even been a man. The chance to gain your wildest dream or greatest wish. A mere, ‘pretend’ contract, and the all too eerie giggle and wishing of luck as you fade into black.

You’ll soon realize upon awakening, you are certainly nowhere you ever remember seeing. It could be a luxury suite, a forest, even the bottom of a lake. They are all encompassed by your new home- Värdskepp, the Host Ship.

Only a small bit of exploring will allow you to realize the ship’s great advantages. The room and board are free, along with hot meals and unlimited currency. There are game-rooms, golf courses, ice skating- it’s all any greedy man’s fantasy. There are also people; people just like you, bound to the ship by a contact you will never see.

But it shouldn’t take long to realize everything is not as it seems. The staff watching you are ghosts. Managers have glowing orange eyes that seem to follow you wherever you go. The infamous host, Karsaburo, is nowhere to be found. And a necropolis- City of the Dead- resides not far from your precious luxuries. The ghosts may even reach out to you; all you can do is wait, and wonder what you really signed away in that contract.

Explore, learn, grow. It’s what they’re looking for. Because the more you learn, the more you become entangled in their mysteries.

And most importantly, where is this Host Ship even going?
