Citizenship registration

So today mum and I went to ICA for citizenship registration. Needlessly to say it was very boring, consisting entirely of a series of waiting from one counter to another. Actually like I told some of my friends, I dont really feel much going from PR to citizen, and sorry if this sounds offensive, this thing doesnt mean anything to me, at most ( Read more... )

Aren't your glad that we escaped it all?

Chinese citizenship used to mean a lot to me, but not anymore.. for no particular reason?

Are you intending to become a citizen though? I hope by the time I'm 21, Singapore would accept dual citizenship, so I dont have to make visa to go back to China.

Ya I dropped in the application form earlier this year, for almost the same reason as yours. And also part of the reason being that (ok this sounds foolish) I can go to tw with a sg passport? Heh I mean I really love the indie scene there.. I promised myself I would go to hohaiyan (one of their most famous indie rock festival) when I'm still young :P

i was here end of 96, and now all i can recall of my former home is only everything in my house, a tree near my house and some old people around the area.
weird that i actually remember a tree more than my friends back then...
