some time ago, the charm of re-reading books and re-watching movies lost their effect on me. i bought books because i loved them the second time as much as the first. i purchased movies because i wanted the option of watching them again at a moment's whim

hohohoho, i still reread books. in fact i just reread a couple of books because i completely forgot the stories. you know how i EASILY forget things, but i tend to remember the general plot of books and a vague - i thought this was good. anyway i like to reread my "favorite parts" of the book, especially when i'm in a bad mood and want something to make me feel better, or i'll reread it completely if i can't even remember that or i will remember something but can't remember how the book got to that point. also i re-listened to some old cds because i forgot what the songs were on them. my memory is so bads, hmm. but it makes things all new again and i get this new perspective because i'm older. like i read something and caught something that i thought was ok before but later thought was completely stupid. of course i can't remember what this was. but still.
