regarding the film adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender

So, I love the cartoon and am planning to watch it again in the future, maybe get the DVDs when I have a bit more money to put down on them (or find them secondhand).

I'm not going to watch the movie coming out soon. I'd explain why, but this post does it much better. Although I may be a member of the majority group, it nonetheless disgusts me ( Read more... )

wow............just....WOW where have i been hiding under? OAO a rock? that's just so wrong and sad. At first i didn't even want to watch it in theaters because of that and also that they were going to jam pack all 3 seasons into a movie........or so i thought now i just.....*FACEPALM* THANK YOU, thank you for putting that up, otherwise i wouldn't know ;A;/

It is pretty disturbing... it's something I've been following since they announced that there was going to be a movie (initially with excitement, then disbelief, then disappointment).

But yes, the more the word gets out on this, the better!

This is so depressing. There is really no excuse for things like this... and they'll lose more revenue from angry fans boycotting it then they gain by trying to appeal to a wider audience or whatever their justification is. :c
