I've done that a few times. It's better when yer not in a humid place so it's like refreshing light shower provided by mother nature herself~

Oh, I dunno. Emotional turmoil? It was like the powers-that-be up in the sky thought oh hey, the humans are being dramatic--time for rain.

But that wasn't too often--I lived in a place called Sunnydale, and it lived up to its name.
