Title: The Snugglefic

Author's note: The working title for this was The Snugglefic and then I went through 238 other titles to come up with a "proper" title, but it just wanted to be called The Snugglefic, so it is.

( Lying on her back in Kalinda’s immaculate apartment with that beautiful body in her arms; running her fingers over the silk of her shirt; feeling Kalinda move closer and closer to her as she gently stroked the back of her neck, over and over again until Kalinda sighed and murmured with pleasure, whispered a plea for more... )

Wasn't there an old movie that was sold with the tagline "Garbo laughs"? When I sell The Snugglefic to a major Hollywood studio I will definitely suggest the tagline "Kalinda snuggles". Well I'd watch it, for sure.

Well, with that title, I did figure this would be a painless, simple, pure-fluff-till-your-teeth-hurt, little cuddle fest (and not there is anything wrong with that), but it didn't prepare me for this perfection and the ~feelings~ and the depth, and the AW! MY HEART!-ness here! :)

See, this is why fanfic exists. Sure, it's simple wish fulfillment - but when it's good, it also does this amazing dance with canon established personalities and just...colors a little outside of their lines and expands on them and fleshes them out in totally satisfying, plausible and touching ways.

And dayum, you did.

From the way that Kalinda reacted to her touch, Alicia strongly suspected that she hadn’t experienced much tenderness in her life, and that just moved her more.

I just discovered this story band have read it countless number of times! Just the whole idea of Kalinda snuggling makes my heart swell. And that she's getting it from Alicia *swoon*!!!
Please, please, please write another Kalicia story soon. You r just amazing!
