The end of my Kalicia era

I'm 99.9% sure that I've posted what will be my last ever Kalicia fic to AO3 at http://archiveofourown.org/users/variousflumps/pseuds/variousflumps so I wanted to say a quick goodbye and thank you to all of the wonderful Kalicia fans out there. Awh, Flump, this makes me way sadder than I have any right to be. I of course do not blame you one bit - Kalicia has been one step from terminal for awhile, and I think all of us have had a "what's the point?" moment (or a few... or a hundred) over the last season or two. You're probably smarter for putting that one on the shelf. :) Still, I will miss you and your fics, and maintain hope that something good enough happens to bring you back. Enjoy your new fandom -- I know they will enjoy you! And if you ever get the inkling to stop back in Breakfast Club once in awhile, just to say hi, you are of course welcome with open arms.

Thanks Jamie, I'm gonna miss you too! You know, I completely blame you for Kaliciafying me in the first place - a combination of A Mile for The Journey and the breakfast club was just too much for me to resist. And it's been wonderful.

It's a funny place to end because there's still that tiny glimmer of hope, but as long as JM and Archie are not allowed in the same room I can't summon up much enthusiasm.

I'm still going to keep an eye on breakfast club in case of developments, or in case we ever find out the nature of the Backstage Shenanigans. Or in case you write A Mile for the Journey parts 7-234!!

Are you kidding? MFTJ is my favorite A/K fic of all time ever ever EVAH. I would be back with bells on and I would commission a bell maker to make me a selection of miniature bells that I could hang from my regular size bells.

I would have a high number of bells on, is my point.

Well I hope Kalicia do make out so you're forced back into the fold. However the fact that you left us with a gigantic pile of fic is some compensation.

Sorry for the WAH! situation! Let's be honest, they wouldn't have to make out. They'd have to be in the same room and possibly look at each other. That's all it would take. WHY does the universe not give me what I want when the things that I want are SO SMALL.

I'm sorry that you're (maybe) finished writing Kalicia fic but I've been a big fan of your stories for a while and would love a copy of that Word document. I know it's pretty hard to be a Kalicia fan right now, hell I wanted to drop the show at the end of last season myself but with Will's death new life (ironically) has been brought back into the show. However I appreciate that you stuck with it as long as you did and thanks for the fantastic stories! :)

Hi dar_nikita - Will's death has definitely given it a boost but as long as Alicia and K cannot breathe the same air I just can't find the Kalicia love.

I hope thats since Kalinda and Alicia sort of had a final scene together - in the season 6 finale - that you might write one more story!
