( Kalinda sits stunned. She feels on the edge of tears again, as she has done for so much of the past few months. Her mind is blank, and all she knows is that she wants this to be over. )

Oh my! I desperately hope we get something even *half* this intense, real, & deep between the two on the actual show! Anything less will seem another waste, on the part of the writers, of a priceless opportunity! Thanks for this!

GOD!! I have to go... I dunno, hug my dog and cuddle my wife or something for an extended period! My stomach is in knots and I'm feeling post-ringer myself here. Wow. Intense is right.

When Alicia laughed after the "I love you"! Just ouch x infinity. The whole thing - so painful. For both of them.

And I agree with the above - if we even get a smidge of this on the show itself, I will be one happy camper. This was a fantastic mining of all the potential there. And having Alicia call her out on the fact that Kalinda hadn't even made it clear she liked her (well, verbally, so much), and how things would have to be different... excellent.

Please write more. Often. :)

*Sigh* Look at us all trying to channel our anxieties about all of this into the ficverse. IT HURTS. IT HURTS SO MUCH.

You did a nice job here. In order to have any hope of reparation, Kalinda needs to be able to hold and tolerate all of Alicia's anger, hurt, and disdain and not shrink from it or run from it. And maybe as importantly, she needs to be honest and forthcoming in the face of it, which is NOT her natural inclination. It's gonna be tough. :-\

I felt so relieved for the honesty you allowed Kalinda to give, and the compassion you allowed Alicia to show. God, wouldn't it be lovely? *wants*
