Bleah - about 3 miles from my house, I hit an icy patch on the road and after getting turned around, the rear of my car got crunched up against a lump of dirt and rock on the side of the road. heh Yes, it was just the bumper and the rear brake line. If they didn't make bumpers to crumple, that probably wouldn't have been an issue at all, and the brake line just meant that I lost the power brakes and had to hold the brake all the way down to stop. Since at no point was I not on the same back country road, it wasn't any trouble to get back home. Getting the car to the garage might be a little more tricky, tho'... :\ (Plus I really can't afford to throw $300 or so on car repairs, but what can you do?)
