I am finally getting to these rambles. My rambles will be weird and probably won't center on their life as a whole or their person as a whole, but really random things.
Oh, Rusty. SO. Aubrey, a long time ago when we had storyline posts, was asking for family members for Annie Hunt. I really wanted to give her someone, and I stumbled upon a PB set of Ryan Gosling in this movie and wa la! He fits. I have no idea how I ever thought he fit as he really doesn't look like he could be Kristen Chenoweth's brother, but that's kinda how it worked out. They were so different in so many other ways. Their dad loved Annie. Rusty was more of the... failure son who couldn't do anything right. Their dad hated him. Annie is all perky and smiley. Rusty is the opposite of perky.
He grew up in New York City. When he was younger, he somehow managed to curse more than he does already. I have no idea how that happens, but when I play bb!him, every other word is a swear word. I think that he was much more violent and angry when he was younger, but he's

BAWWWWWWWWW, RUSTY. He is one of my favorites of yours, even if he's not very loud or anything. I think I'm just a sucker for his 'type'--the kind of outcast in his own family thing. I love the sort of faily ones.
Also, baww, Rusty and Diana Ross songs. And ;_; Rusty the addict. This just made me love him so much more, but his end is so frelling perfect and. Yeah.
Your rambles are beautiful and I love you. <3 <3 <3
OKAY. I preface this ramble by saying that I really do not have any of the opposite verse characters like fleshed out at all. Basically, it's just a verse where those who are angels in canon Rift are demons in opposite-Rift... and vice versa. :D Also, for some reason, their hair color tends to be opposite. I don't know why... and it's not true in all cases. >>"
SO. Robin's dad was a demon, but he was a Poludnica. He got sick and died when they were young. It all basically stays the same for Robin. His mother got drunk and abused them all. He lost his sisters. His mother abused him more, and when Robin turned sixteen, he became a raksasha demon. He hated his mother. Absolutely hated her. When he got that calling, he couldn't resist killing her, and he did so slowly, cutting her neck open with the broken bottle and watching as she bled out in front of him. Despite how much he hated her, he felt remorse over it. The entire process was some weird combination of pain and guilt and grief and joy and relief
( ... )
Ffff. The Joker. I will keep this short and sweet. I know we're supposed to be rambling, but yes. >>" Also, I've noticed that my rambling gets weirdly not about them as a whole, but random things I think of. So yes. :x
I have played a lot of creepy, sketchy people in my time. Calisto and Flagg are the top two that come to mind. Honestly, the Joker is the one that I'm really scared of when I play him. Flagg comes in as a close second, but this ramble isn't about him. >>"
The reason that the Joker scares me to play is because getting into his headvoice, it does weird things to me. His thought processes are so different than anyone else's that I've played. It's disjointed and chaotic, but it makes perfect sense to him. He has this weird fourth-walling ability, which freaks me out but it's comic-book canon for him
( ... )
Fff. Johnny. :> I love Johnny. I should start this off by saying The Dead Zone is one of my favorite books ever. I've read it so many times since I was... well, I wasn't little, but it was a long while ago. Once I read it like five times in one summer
( ... )
Despite the fact that Andrew was in the game (a long, long time ago), I don't know if I'll be able to ramble about him much. >>" This is probably why he ended up leaving so quickly. XDD
( ... )
ohgod I am so sorry. -_-despite_myrageJune 12 2010, 11:10:22 UTC
LOL. Oh Robin. Fff. OKAY. You know a lot already, but I'm kind of doing the random stuff-y rambling at any rate for all of these rambles. Apparently. >>"
When I went to make Robin as a character, I did so for one reason alone. Aubrey wanted to have more characters/employees for Romana. I thought it would be awesome to play a personal assistant so I started looking around at PB sites, trying to find someone that looked like a good personal assistant. I stumbled on the icons of Jude Law from Alfie in the Robins journal on IJ. I feel like I may have let the comm name influence... what I named him. I tried to think of a different name for him as I was like that seems really lame of me, but it just fit. I have no idea why Rice became his last name. This is a problem with having a horrible memory

SO VERY SORRY WTF SELF.despite_myrageJune 12 2010, 11:11:12 UTC
Robin is rather good at cooking. He enjoys it, but he enjoys being able to be a personal assistant. He really did love and embrace his job for more than the fact that it was so necessary for him to do it. He took pride in his work, even the most meaningless tasks, and Robin put his all into everything that he did
( ... )
I will happily ramble about him several times over. I can definitely pick out different aspects so that each ramble is different and its own little ramble. >>"
OKAY. The thing about Kurt that I've been thinking about for awhile. He's a teenager for one. I think the majority of teenagers have their own sets of delusions on their hands, ya know? It comes with being sixteen and in high school.
While consciously he realizes that a lot of what he wishes for will never come true, I think that... he can be manipulative, but I think he unconsciously views his own life like it's a musical. He is the writer/star/director of this musical.
If he sets everything up right, there'll be a happy ending in the mix for him. For instance, he did try out to be a football player and he helped them win a big game. At this time, he hadn't come out to his dad at all. So he's thinking to himself or not thinking, okay, I've done something that's big and huge that within my dad's world, he'd see as this big accomplishment. He has to accept me now. It was

I love that. I love the viewing of his own life like it's a musical and he's the writer/star/director. I love that.
Rogue had SO much fun talking to him, and it was a CPR post and...I just fell in love with the character.
I want to see/know/discover more of him just because a LOT comes through, and the feeling is that there's still so much more to find out. I'd heard a lot about the show, but I'd never felt a strong pull to watch it until that post. And now, I really WANT to and I find myself looking for clips on youtube and places just to see what pieces I can.
I'm fascinated by him, and...yes. :D I think he's awesome.
:> THat is my own personal canon more than anything that the show has said, but I believe it's all so subconscious anyway that he's not even aware of it. :x
I'm glad she had as much fun as I did. :D Kurt enjoyed the conversation as well. Very much.
Jane is a new character, but she came in fairly fully formed for me, which is odd. It sometimes takes me 10 threads or until they run into a specific character for my own character to really become like more complete in my head.
I started playing her, because I wanted someone that has some sketch to them again. I wanted to play a demon since Rusty is on his way out. Ella suggested the PB, and the idea for her formed after I looked at a few sets of Lucy Liu. Within an hour, I'd had a prompt written up for her, which also worked for her history.
My favorite part about Jane is that she is such a big believer in self sufficiency. It doesn't matter who you are, she hates seeing someone act submissive unless it's playing pretend in bed. People do what they want behind closed doors to get off, but she hates submissive people. It reminds her of who she used to be, because for about a hundred years, she was submissive. She did as her family told and expected of her. Jane only spoke when she was spoken to, only killed when ordered to, and
