What is life like for someone who has done so much so fast? I ask myself this question and ponder over it's answer often. I am only 28 but I have done a lot of things some people wait their entire lives to do. This creates a problem because it often times leads to being disinterested in things others have a desire to do ( Read more... )

It's fascinating dilemma and I am unfamiliar with.

But I'd gladly trade you any time.

Well Vani, I don't know if I would want to trade. I tend to be very hard on people sometimes and I would probably make you lose friends or something of that sort!

I'm in a pretty much the same situation here, so I decided to settle down, start a family :)

Well I have been dating someone for almost two years so that might happen. I just don't want to get bored and be able to look forward to things. When your life is extraordinary for so many years how can you get used to being ordinary again? That's the real question.

I'm happy to get it to become ordinary. I want a boring life. Had enough action (3 years in military intel service, mostly in warzone spots, twice wounded), had my share of screwing around and drinking, got a degree, career looking good, my work and hobby are the same thing, done some traveling, even spent a year on a relocation job in Ireland... Just the time to settle down, and enjoy the ordinary.

I just asked my girl to marry me, a few months ago I quit army reserve for good, so no more action should happen... gimme boring!

We actually have been talking about heading out west or even moving out there some day. She is all about Washington and I am more about PDX.

Congratulations! You guys are awesome and a good match for each other. I am working Saturday at a Halloween party (bartending) so no dice on coming!

You have to tell me if you are coming to O-H-I-O!
