Sci-Fi TriplePlex: Sarah Connor, Dollhouse and BSG!

In general, I'm extremely happy with the two premiers and the general new season of BSG!  It's also nice that they are basically daisy chained on Friday night (although I could have murdered FOX for pushing Dollhouse to the itty-bitty screen at random to give us "

That would be nice--it would also provide some plot continuity from the mutiny. I like that they addressed the Quorum (though Lee being shocked that he's drafted as in charge of setting up the new system of government, when he's (a) the only one with an idea and (b) the only member of the Quorum left (!) was a bit "aww--Lee, you're so cutely clueless"

I'm "meh" on Dollhouse, but holy batman, BSG is fantastic.

Like babarnett, I don't trust the female medic, but am in awe of the story-telling.

I'm a bad scifi fan, I can only comment with respect to Dollhouse.

The jury is completely out for me on whether or not it will be good to watch... There just isn't enough to go on yet... It has potential.

I'm not sure what to think of the anime comparison, I haven't seen noir but i have seen gunslinger girl. It might touch on the concepts behind gunslinger, but that's all. In gunslinger girl, bonding the girl with a specific person played a very strong role. in Dollhouse they seem to be emphasizing detachment...

I was pleased with the personalities being based off real personalities, requiring flaws in order for a person to have strengths and skills... it adds an important extra dimension to it.

and now since i shouldn't actually be replying to this while at work, i'll hit post.
