It has been forever since I have so much as even been on lj so why I am commenting now simply eludes me. I just don't know why but it seems like everything in my life has simply blown up in my face in the past year. Why does it seem the harder you try to make others happy that you lose happiness yourself, is it a direct equation? Is it

While I am not suggesting to be vain, I do believe that your happiness should mean more than that of others, but I don't think you should stomp all over them to be happy. Granted, if it is a loved one, you naturally want to make them happy, but in return, they should want that for you as well. If you explain to them in an appropriate manner that this DOES make you happy, then they should love you enough in return to understand and at least live with it, rather they agree with it or not

Don't let the world beat you down, you and I need to have a good talk again my friend things just aren't the same with no time for stuff .. I vote some summer night just hanging out like that night out by the pool when the world was ending the first time. Those people aren't really happy they're scared of being hurt by the world... Go liten to this song and it will lift your spirits again .. trust me It has mine tonight. It sounds sad but theres something there that calms
