As I always did before...I feel the need to post song lyrics.
Yes, I am going to force my musical preferences onto you all, yet again.

*Sniggers* You typed breasts!
But in all seriousness (I wonder if that's possible for me), interesting lyrics. I think it's the intamacy of writer and song that makes it even more vivid. The use of imagery in it is awesome. I just wonder how it sounds as a song, because right now I'm liking it in poem form.
And now for the scolding:
What are you doing going to sleep at five in the morning, young lady?! No decent, self-respecting person would do such a horrible thing! *shifts eyes* Er...wait.
Nevermind. Yes they would.

How did I know that ONE of you would make a comment about the breasts? Haha!
And by the way...I ended up not going to sleep until 7. Then my mom woke me up at 10:30. Yay for 3 hours of sleep!!!

About the song...I think it's even better in song form, but I guess it's a matter of opinion, cause some people don't like Conor Oberst's voice.
He doesn't have an awesome voice...in fact it's mediocre, but I think it works very well with his songs. The imperfections make it more personal and emotional...and stuff.

Uh...because I'm a childish pervert? I don't know.

And dear, dear Bria...3 hours of sleep? You're worse than me! When I finally go to sleep, I get a full eight hours...usually...unless my mom decides to go all evil dictator on me. That makes me cry and on days like that it's best not to cross paths with me.

As for the song, I guess I'll just have to illegally download it from some place because yahoo music is a crap face.

hmm... very interesting song. I like it a lot. Like Cathy, I wonder what it'd sound in song though.

Yeah, read what I said up there in response to Cathy ^^^

And also, you guys can probably find the song online if you want to hear it, it's Bright Eyes (of course).

Black eyes, that's creepy. Like Stepford Wives. The song makes sense in that context, too.

I always thought he meant the color of her eyes were black, not her whole eye. But that does make a lot of sense.
