I bought a copy of the new Playstation Magazine inly to see a hands on preview of the beginning of KH2. Apparently the whole begining of the game you play as Roxas (blonde-haired kid) and start to learn his connections to Sora. And, just like the last one, you get to chose your main fighting style (attack, defense, or magic) and the opening area

I was given the impression by some of the information I've read in the past that characters from non-Nomura FF games were being kept to a minimum, as Nomura stated he didn't really like dealing with FF characters that weren't his original design. This is why most of the Final Fantasy characters we've seen so far (with the notable exceptions of Setzer and Vivi) are from the Nomura games, which 7-8, 10, and 10-2. This would explain why there are so many more characters from 8 and 10-2 showing up. However, I'm glad to see that other iconic characters like Setzer and Vivi are being given some play in this: Final Fantasy is about more than just the S-Generation games, and while I know there's not a lot of familiar ground they can call up from the N-Generation, it's great to see them making a valid attempt at it.
