My parents also used to just tell me to work harder, or yell, "why can't you do this? What's so wrong with you?" and that sucks when people act like that when you can't really help it. As for the meds, I've had a tough time finding a suitable treatment. Nothing is great, but I've found Concert 36mg to help the most. It helps me focus a little more and decreases my nervous energy, but it doesn't affect my creativity, which is huge. I love that ADHD minds can just go down 5 roads at once. : )
