It wasn't extremely hard. He got up afterwards, but he had to be helped to the curb. His knuckles and his knees were a little busted up, and his glasses were crushed. He kept yelling that he was OK and that he could see without his glasses and please don't call an ambulance, and he had to be told over and over that he had to go to the hospital anyway to make sure his adrenaline rush wasn't covering up any injuries.
But it freaked me way out because it was right in front of me and it happened so fast. I felt like I should have done more to help, but all there really was to do was direct some traffic around everything until the ambulance got there.
One time I got hit by a car in the HCC parking lot. I just sort of rolled onto the hood and had a huge bruise on the majority of my thigh for a few months. And just now, I pulled a long blond curly hair out of my sleeve.
I'm glad to hear that he wasn't killed or anything because that would be even more traumatizing for you.

I got hit by a car at HCC once too!! Freakin' idiots don't know how to drive. I kinda fell under the hood, instead of on top of it, but I did have a mean bruise that took almost two months to heal up. I think I was more *embarassed* that physically hurt.
Laurie, was the driver of the vehicle *occupied* at the moment? Ya know what I mean! ::wink wink:: :: nudge nudge:: :)
