I've always known my father to be a miser. But to have that fact rubbed in my face over the last few days? Well, it serves me right for hoping that he'll be a better man with age.
As at to-date : 20 May 09 : I finally realized that there is no hope for the matter to take a positive turn. The man that I thought I knew is gone. -

Have decide to shelf it to one side and go watch some DVDs - namely Bolt and Changeling.
Argh. Turns out that I shouldn't have watched Bolt first then Changeling. The latter is rather sad and disturbing and I've got no happy shows to cheer me up. -

My air-conditioner's down as it's blowing copious amount of hot air and it looks like the fan is my only hope. -

Just learned that the property manager had put up a complaint to the area manager. It's about me not topping up the drinks in the fridge.

short trips and friends

Had a meeting with GC and ASY concerning my goals for Yr 2009.
And there we have a classic case of WW taking advantage of the fact of the economic slowdown to dump more work on us.
The whole meeting had been a joke. Was hard pressed not to shake my head and start sniggering. -

I suppose this might be rather late...some relatives are visiting, so I haven't been able to go online.
