I don't know how to say the word gramatically correct, or if there's a way. Cause it's an abriviation, soo.. perhaps just rewrite the sentence? Instead of "didn't get ID'd" maybe " wasn't asked for ID" and "I also didn't get ID'd" to "the door person almost forgot to ask for ID" or simply "almost made it without being hit for ID" which is actually still wrong casue it should be "an ID" cause of "I" being a vowel and whatnot. *sigh*

You could make it really simple and sound smarter, too, by just changing it to "I wasn't asked for identification."
