I'm slowly discovering that my dad used to be cool. Until his mid 20s he hitchhiked/bummed around Canada, worked odd jobs to make ends meat, did drugs, met lots of interesting people and did lots of crazy things. Take 'On The Road'... replace Jack with Barry... replace the US with Canada... and you could have an almost true story
