A nice sunny sundaymorning. :-) Yesterday we were having dinner with the young crew from work in some Italian restaurant. It was quite nice, but how rude was the owner of the restaurant. OMG how fucking rude!! You should write to a local newspaper that reviews restaurants or ring in a radio show about it or something to get him some bad publicity.

There's a story all over the news in Dublin about a very exclusive restaurant there, only this time it's the other way around, i sympathise with the owner. Some man came in demanding chips even though they weren't on the menu, they had to go to a lot of trouble to cut potatoes and make his chips, because with their reputation everything had to be done perfectly. They also had to heat up oil because they don't normally deep fry. So his chips came after the rest of the food and he sent them back saying he didn't want them anymore. The owner came blasting out of the kitchen, banged his plate down in front of him and yelled EAT YOUR FUCKING CHIPS!

The next day it was all over the talk radio shows and i laughed my ass off!
It's actually done his business no harm either.

Well I can absolutely understand the cook in your case. They shouldn't be played with at all. But I think asking for a veggie dish really wasn't that much over the top! :-)
He was a pain in the ass to everyone in the restaurant who wasn't Italian.

The guy in the restaurant is an ass i would of told him also! who the hell is he to even try and judge you! i assume no tip was left :)

I'm thinking you should go to the restaurant again today and chant the 'Om ajnana' mantra and maybe that guy will drop dead ;-) mix your dream with the waking world...mwahhhhha *evil laugh*

I would have, but there were 8 others with me. Most of them missed the whole scene so I couldn't force them to leave.
