[as said on his message, Obi was waiting by the edge of the lake. in fact he was just lying on the grass, looking as if he was taking a late afternoon/early evening nap by the water.
but he was far from asleep. in fact he was waiting for a certain someone so he could ask him certain questions that the certain someone certainly neglected to mention. normally he wouldn't be as "persuasive", but after Master Zen had ordered him to find out more about this world and not sure if he could trust the SFC's yet, he just went with the tried and true method. it of course had taken him a while to actually track him down, but that was partially due to the fact he was investigating other leads and doing some of his own exploration.
so there he was, just waiting patiently. he knew that this may be a fruitless interrogation, but he had to start somewhere]
