Ah, Halloween. Such a fun time. It really was the only day that made a holiday out of scary things.
Which is why Crowley got the notion to scare the bejeezus out of people. He was a demon, after all. He had to have a little fun now and then. Of course, Aziraphale would disagree, but who cared what he thought? Crowley was free to do what he wanted.
Plus, the
costume (changed to black because Crowley liked it better) and
mask were almost perfect for such a holiday. Just the right amount of creepiness. Crowley didn't appreciate the wig that much, so he left off without it.
And now he had to wait, like a spider in a web, for any potential victims that would just walk a little too close to his hiding spot. Oh, he hadn't had this much fun since that day in the seventeenth century when he had turned all the animal figureheads in a local bar into monster heads that roared and made horrible sounds just because he felt like it.
What could he say, he loved mischief.
