It had been a long, strange week.
Momomaru was missing his family dearly, especially his mother. She would be so worried by now, wondering where her son was. There was no clue whatsoever for her to find back in Mino, if what he'd been told was correct. It wasn't fair. Who would be so mean as to steal children away from their parents?
There was nothing he could do until their captors chose to send them home, however, and for the most part everyone in Vatheon had treated him well. The biggest comfort was Little Princess, his friend from Tosa. The older boy had taken it upon himself to watch over Momomaru, and he was grateful. Being alone was something he had never been very good at dealing with.
Sniffing slightly, the Akechi heir curled his legs up and wrapped his arms around them. He was tired now. Very, very tired. Keeping to his usual sleeping hours had been hard work and he'd probably not slept enough for someone his age.
He yawned loudly, before remembering his manners and covering his mouth with a hand.
