Selphie had been learning something of responsibility since Ianto had left Moses in her care. She looked after him well - he had the best food (she always let him choose his own), the best bed (in amongst Selphie, or with Kenshin) and the cat couldn't moan about not having any fun.
Selphie's in the park, wandering around with...yup, that's a black and white cat on a leash. Moses is clever enough, but Selphie has decided that it's safer with him close by on a lead. They're walking around quite the thing, and it's probably possible to catch snippets of Selphie talking to the cat - about the best icecream, about chocobos, about Balamb, about her nunchaku, about the latest romance novel she was reading...
But every so often she stops, almost freezes on the spot. She glances around her - why does it feel like she's being watched. Maybe the trees have eyes? When she does pause, Moses pauses too, looking up at Selphie with concerned kitty eyes. She does her best to shrug it off, and continues in her cat walk.
