It was only after putting the day's shopping away, taking a long bath and getting dressed that Mitsuhide sought out Motochika. He knew where to find him, and so, after getting the bottle of nail varnish remover he'd bought for his friend, he slipped into the garden.
The fact that over a week had passed while he slept had unnerved him when he'd awoken and taken a look at the Vatheon network, and that feeling had not yet passed. In all honesty he had wanted the comfort of Motochika's presence much earlier, but the desire to be practical had ensured he'd restocked their provisions and taken care of his body before allowing himself to do so.
"Lord Motochika," he said, offering the other man a polite bow of the head with his formal greeting. The two of them were as close as it was possible to be, but Mitsuhide could never be persuaded to drop the title. Family members, friends, lovers... if they had a title, they would be addressed by it.
After a second he sat down next to the tree and offered the bottle he held over.
